Q. Do you charge for additional animals?
A. We charge $5 for each additional dog and $3 for each additional cat.
Q. Do you charge more for holidays?
A. We charge $10 per visit on top of the regular rates for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve/Day, and $5 per visit on top of the regular rates for Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends, Easter, and Fourth of July.
Q. What is the reason for the Free In-Home Consultation?
A. There is no charge for our first consultation. It gives us the opportunity to meet you, get acquainted with your pets and get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home. Should you decide to hire us, the pet sitter will complete a service agreement with you and pick up a house key to keep on file. There is a $7 fee for all appointments made with less than 48 hours notice. A Cancellation Fee with less than 48 hours notice gets 50% of the total.
There is a charge for delivering or picking up clients’ keys from their home if you choose not to participate in the Never Worry Key Program ($10-$15 depending on your location).
Q. What is anti-food aggression training?
A. This is a training method that I designed as a teenager. It is a crucial part of your dog’s training for a few reasons:
1) The safety of your dog. If your dog has something in their mouth that could harm them, you need to be able to take it away from them.
2) The safety of your family and small children. Food aggression is one of the top reasons why people give up their pets.
Q. What other type of training programs do you offer?
A. Our training programs are tailored for each puppy/dog. Just like humans, every dog learns differently. However, we do follow a specific curriculum. How soon your dog graduates from the first step to the next is determined by two factors: one, how fast they catch on and two, how often you practice what was taught during each session. The more you practice, the faster they learn.

Q. Why shouldn't I have my neighbor's child check on my pet?
A. In most cases, you get what you pay for. Most people would feel better by knowing that their pets and home are in safe hands. If something does go wrong, we are responsible individuals skilled in providing loving care to pets and homes.
Q. What type of animals will you care for?
A. Visits are available for any type of pets—dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, birds, and more. Services include feeding, playing/walking, litter box and/or yard pet waste cleanup, lots of attention, and basic home maintenance like plant watering, rotating lights and blinds, bringing in mail and newspapers, and home security checks. Keep in mind that visits can be a good deterrent for potential burglars, which helps to keep your pets safe, well fed, and loved.
Q. Will the same person be walking my dog every time?
A. Yes! It will always be the same person.
Q. What time will you visit my pets?
A. When caring for your pets, we strive to keep as close to their daily routine as possible. When we meet with you for your initial consultation, we will ask you about your pet's normal activities and we will do our best to keep that schedule.

Q. How often should I practice with my dog?
A. Practice everyday! We will go over what I call “structured and unstructured” sessions, time limits etc. during our sessions.
Q. How many dogs will be in the class?
A. Just yours. I don't believe in group sessions. Given that our training programs are tailored for each individual pet, it would be impossible to provide large group classes without sacrificing the quality of your sessions.
Q. Aren't private lessons more expensive?
A. Actually yes, they can be. However, mine are not. Feel free to do some research.
Q. Why shouldn't I just leave the dog until I get home?
A. Owning a pet is a full-time responsibility. But many people today who love their pets don't have enough time to provide the level of care that they would like to. I will help you to fill that gap and in return, allow you to own and love your pet without ever compromising the care.
